Dover, Kohl & Partners joins Arcadis Engineering and the City of Miami Beach at the 6th Annual Southeast Florida Regional Climate Leadership Summit today to present adaptive concepts. As part of the Southeast Florida Resilient Redesign charrette DKP worked with Dutch Engineers on the Virginia Key Boulevard Levee concept among other ideas for retrofit, retreat and reinforcement. Miami's first coastal levee could provide a bulwark against storm surge for the entire city as well as a new, higher-elevation, network of walkable communities.
